Are you a tech-savvy student? Here's your chance to shine! EY, SAP, and Petronas have joined forces for the EY Young Technology Professional Challenge 2024. This isn't your typical competition. It's a journey from idea to solution, all while using cutting-edge tech from SAP. The goal? To wake up Malaysian students to the power of tech in business and get them ready for the future.
Teams of 2 to 4 students can sign up. You'll need to be in your third year or higher at a local or foreign university. The challenge will run for four weeks, culminating in semi-finals and finals in December. Throughout the competition, pros from EY, SAP, and Petronas will be your guides. They'll help you pitch your ideas and turn them into real business solutions using SAP's Business Technology Platform.
Judges will be looking for creativity, analytical skills, practical know-how, leadership, and personal attributes. The winners will walk away with up to US$2, 700 (RM12, 000) and potentially an internship or job offer with EY in Malaysia. Not bad, huh?
Vipin Chandran from SAP and Nur Fadillah from Petronas are excited about this. They see it as a way to develop future tech leaders and boost Malaysia's digital economy. Plus, Petronas is bringing in 14 universities from their CHESS program to make this even bigger.
So, if you're ready to take your tech skills to the next level and make a difference, this challenge is for you. Who knows? You might just be shaping Malaysia's digital future.
