The Impact of LHIMS on Healthcare Professionals in Ghana

Electronic health records (EHRs) are only as good as the people using them. A recent study looked into how well health professionals in Ghana are using the Lightwave Health Information Management System (LHIMS). This system is designed to help manage patient information better. The study focused on three key factors: how well the system works, how satisfied users are, and how efficiently they use it. These aspects are all connected to each other. For instance, if the system works well, users are more likely to be satisfied and use it more efficiently. The findings showed that there's a strong relationship between these factors. It's crucial for the success of such systems that healthcare professionals find them effective, enjoy using them, and use them efficiently. By improving one area, the others can also benefit, ultimately leading to better healthcare for patients.
