Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's Tech Golf League: A New Twist on the Game

They're launching a new league called TGL, which is like a high-tech version of Top Golf but in a stadium. The first match will be on January 7th at the SoFi Center in Florida, and you can watch it on ESPN or ESPN Plus.In this league, two teams of golfers will hit balls at a giant screen until they get close to the "hole. " Then, they'll switch to a huge artificial green that changes shape using special motors. Each match will last about two hours, with three players from each team competing. TGL was supposed to start earlier this year, but there was a delay. Now, it's set to begin with six teams, including Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links Golf Club and Rory McIlroy's Boston Common Golf. The first match will be between the New York Golf Club and The Bay Golf Club.
