Trading Champions: Did UFC and ONE Win?

In 2018, the fighting world was shocked when UFC's Dana White swapped fighters with ONE Championship. Demetrious Johnson, known as 'Mighty Mouse, ' moved to ONE, while Ben Askren headed to UFC. Johnson thinks everyone benefited from the trade. He says he made good money and got to fight top opponents at ONE. Askren, however, didn't do as well in UFC, with only one win and two losses. Recently, Johnson and Askren chatted about the trade. They agreed that Askren's quick loss to Jorge Masvidal at UFC 239 boosted Masvidal's career.This led to exciting fights like Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman. Fans, though, aren't so sure. Many think the UFC lost out. They point to Askren's poor record and call it the worst trade ever. Yet, Johnson's success at ONE has made fans love him even more. Both fighters have since retired, with Askren having a great wrestling background and Johnson excelling in Jiu-Jitsu. What do you think? Did both sides win in this trade?
