Trump’s Health Report: A Mixed Picture

Washington, D.C., USASat May 30 2026
The White House released a new health report for former President Trump. It shows a high score on brain tests and good cholesterol levels. The report claims his heart is 14 years younger than his age. However, the new document leaves out details that were in last year’s file. Last year mentioned a colon polyp, cataract surgery and an appendectomy. This time those facts are missing. The report adds some new concerns. It notes slight swelling in his lower legs that improved from last year.
Trump is now 238 pounds, up 14 pounds, yet the doctor still recommends weight loss. Heart data changed too. His resting heart rate rose from 62 to 73 beats per minute. Triglyceride levels doubled, though still within normal limits. Bruising on his hands is explained by frequent handshakes and aspirin use. The doctor says his heart function is normal and that he is “fully fit. ” These statements are positive, but questions about his health remain. During the 2016 campaign a former doctor claimed Trump would be “the healthiest. ”
