Ukraine pushes for stronger diplomacy with U. S. support

Earlier that day, he joined a virtual meeting with the leaders of Britain, Germany, and France to share updates on the front lines and military progress.Zelenskiy pointed out that Ukraine is gaining ground in certain areas, making it harder for Russia to keep pushing forward. He credited a mix of military success and tough international sanctions for pressuring Russia to consider negotiations. Since January, Ukraine has reclaimed about 590 square kilometers of lost territory—a small but meaningful step. The British government later confirmed the conversation, noting that Zelenskiy briefed the leaders on Ukraine’s recent battlefield gains. All three agreed that sticking together against Russia’s attacks remains crucial for both Europe and global safety. They also promised to strengthen their backing for Ukraine in the coming months.
