Scientists have discovered a clever trick using two rare earth metals, cerium (III) and cerium (IV). When these metals react with certain chemicals, they create fluorescent colors that change depending on whether pesticides are present or not.It's like a smart color-changing sensor! For example, a tiny bit of hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) can change the color from blue to yellow. But when harmful pesticides are around, they stop this color change, keeping it blue. The best part?
