Vice President Harris' Rally Moves to Rankin with Star-Studded Lineup

Get ready, Pittsburgh! Vice President Kamala Harris is heading to Rankin for a rally on Monday afternoon. The event, which was initially planned for Point State Park but deemed unsafe, will now take place at the historic Carrie Blast Furnaces. The "Vote for Freedom Rally" is set to run from 5 p. m. to 10 p. m. , featuring special musical guests like Katy Perry, Andra Day, DJ Arie Cole, and D-Nice. After the Pittsburgh rally, Harris will make her way to Philadelphia for a final push in the crucial state of Pennsylvania, which has 19 electoral votes.Rankin Mayor Joelisa McDonald expressed her excitement in a Facebook post, highlighting the opportunity for the community to shine on the national stage. She noted that regardless of political views, this event showcases the strength and resilience of Rankin and the Mon Valley. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump will also be in Pittsburgh on Monday evening, speaking at PPG Paints Arena around 6 p. m. This is one of four rallies he's scheduled for the day, including stops in Reading, Pennsylvania, Raleigh, North Carolina, and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
