Victory for Glenbard South in Volleyball Clash

Glenbard South’s boys volleyball team secured a convincing win over Willowbrook with a score of 25-18, 25-21. The Raiders’ players performed strongly, with Owen Stauber contributing seven assists and four digs, while Dom Kuceba added twelve assists. Jackson McCabe recorded five kills and three digs, helping keep the opposition at bay. Willowbrook’s Evan Kase managed six kills and five digs, and Mikey Tymoszenko added a block to the team’s effort. Despite their best play, they could not overcome Glenbard South’s momentum.In another highlight from the weekend, Hinsdale South defeated Benet 26-24, 12-25, 25-21. Benet’s Vince Cabay delivered twelve kills, and teammates Lukas Carlsen and Quinn Robinson each added eleven. The game showcased strong defensive plays from both sides. The baseball field saw Westmont triumph over Chicago Noble with a 14-0 score. Ricky Yenkin, now undefeated at two wins, pitched a three‑inning no‑hitter and struck out six batters. Offensively, Alex Meyer hit a double and drove in three runs while Landon Hicks stole a triple, scoring twice. Hank Barrett also contributed with two RBIs.
