Now, the city is preparing for a chilly weekend. High pressure is keeping Boston mostly sunny and dry until Sunday. However, the wind will pick up on Friday, with gusts reaching up to 25 mph. This will make the already cold temperatures feel even colder, by about 10 degrees. Expect morning lows in the 20s and afternoon highs in the low to mid-30s through Sunday.Suburban areas might not see temperatures above the 20s until Sunday. Typically, the high for this time of year is in the low 40s. Keep an eye out for a quick warm-up next week, but it will come with a price. Rain chances return on Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the 40s on Monday and mid-50s by Tuesday. Showers are likely to start on Monday afternoon and continue into Tuesday. Wednesday looks like it will be mostly dry and seasonable, but don't get too comfortable, as unsettled weather returns by Thursday.
