Weekend Weather Watch: Rain in the West, Clouds in the East

The weather in Türkiye is set to change over the weekend. Western parts of the country will see rain, while the rest will have partly cloudy skies. The weather experts have shared their predictions. On Saturday, no rain is expected anywhere in Türkiye. The southern and southwestern areas will have some clouds, but the rest of the country will be mostly clear. This is because a new weather system from the Central Mediterranean will bring cool and rainy conditions on Sunday. Rain is expected in the southwestern regions and the Marmara Region. Thunderstorms may occur in the Southern Aegean and Western Mediterranean. Heavy rain could happen along the coasts of Mugla and Antalya.Next week, rain is expected across the entire country. Higher areas in Central Anatolia might even see sleet. Temperatures will stay around normal for this time of year, but they might be a bit warmer than usual. In major cities, Istanbul and Ankara will not have rain on Saturday. But on Sunday, there might be brief showers. Izmir will have partly to mostly cloudy weather over the weekend.
