Lastly, some bet a lot because they want more money and feel pressured.The study showed that the last group, who want more money and feel pressured, are the ones who have the most problems with gambling. This makes sense because they value money a lot but don't have much of it. They also gamble because they think it will make them feel better. The researchers used different theories to explain why this happens. One theory says that people who feel bad about themselves might gamble to feel better. Another theory says that people take risks because they hope to win big. The last theory says that people who can't control their urges are more likely to gamble too much.
