The first peek at Ghost of Yotei, the follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima, has dropped. And wow, it's stunning! Sucker Punch Productions has packed the trailer with action-packed scenes, like snarling wolves and burning buildings. But the most mesmerizing parts? The peaceful shots of Mount Yōtei and its surroundings.
Now, here's a fun fact: even though I didn't finish Ghost of Tsushima until this year, I'm already hooked on its sequel. That's because the trailer reminded me of why I fell in love with the first game. It’s not just about the action, but also about soaking in the beautiful environment.
When I finally played Ghost of Tsushima, I expected a lot, maybe too much. But it blew me away. Unlike many open world games that overload you with tasks, Tsushima let me explore at my own pace. I'd ride my horse for hours, drawn by distant vistas, and stumble upon hidden treasures or side quests. This calm exploration made the combat feel even more intense, like a sudden disruption of the serene world.
Ghost of Yotei promises a new story, set 300 years later. I can't wait to see how it handles the pacing and exploration. For now, I'm eager to finish what I started in Tsushima.
