You might not need to splurge on the priciest Galaxy S25 Ultra to enjoy 16GB of RAM. According to the latest whispers, the 512GB and 1TB storage options could both pack that much RAM. The last time Samsung offered a flagship Galaxy S model with 16GB of RAM was way back in 2021 with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Both the S21 Ultra and the 2020 S20 Ultra had 16GB of RAM on their highest storage tiers, which was 512GB for both.Samsung brought back the 1TB storage option with the S22 Ultra but kept the RAM at a maximum of 12GB. The upcoming S25 Ultra might have only the 256GB variant with 12GB of RAM. Remember, Samsung hasn't officially announced the S25 series, so these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. What we can be sure of is that at least one variant of the S25 Ultra will come with 16GB of RAM. The base Galaxy S25 might also get a RAM boost, from 8GB to 12GB. As for the Plus model, expect all storage variants to feature 12GB of RAM.
