Winter Storm Pauses Dallas-Fort Worth Events

A big snowstorm is on its way to Dallas-Fort Worth, and it's causing a lot of events to be canceled or postponed. Museums and arts centers are also closing their doors temporarily. The Texas A&M Singing Cadets, who were supposed to perform at the Coppell Arts Center, had to cancel their show. The Majestic Theatre also canceled 'The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch Live' due to the bad weather. The Irving Arts Center's JumpstART Stories & Art, which was all about snow, also got canceled.Other events like 'Henri Bendel and the Worlds He Fashioned' at Interabang Books and the meet and greet with artists from the Stewpot Art Program and Dallas Street Choir at Galleria Dallas have been postponed. The Kimbell Art Museum and the Nasher Sculpture Center are closing for a couple of days. The Amon Carter Museum of American Art's Second Thursdays event and 'Welcome Mat 2 - People 0' from Artstillery are also canceled or postponed.
