These days, young people are turning to artificial intelligence (AI) for help with their personal finances. A recent survey by Experian found that a large majority of Gen Zers and millennials are using AI tools to manage their money. About 67% of Gen Zers and 62% of millennials are relying on AI for tasks like saving, budgeting, and even investing. Christina Roman from Experian explains that AI makes financial tasks simpler and more accessible.
The survey, conducted from August 30 to September 3, involved 2, 011 U. S. adults. It showed that 48% of Gen Zers and millennials use AI to improve their credit scores. In comparison, only 41% of Gen Xers and 28% of baby boomers are considering or using AI for their finances. Interestingly, 98% of Gen Zers and millennials reported a positive experience with AI financial tools. However, experts urge caution. While AI can be a great starting point for financial planning, it's important to verify the information with other sources.
