Local Wrestling Teams Gear Up for Season with Strong Rankings

Wrestling fans in the area have something to cheer about as local teams have made their mark in the recent preseason rankings. The Colorado High School Activities Association has shared these rankings, giving a sneak peek into the upcoming wrestling season.
The boys' wrestling rankings came out first, with Alamosa making a big splash. They secured the second spot in Class 3A, showing they are serious contenders. Not far behind, Centauri grabbed the 10th position in the same class. Over in Class 2A, Monte Vista also made the cut, landing in the 10th spot. Center got a mention too, as they received votes but didn't quite make the top ten.
The girls' rankings followed, and Alamosa was the standout here as well. They are ranked sixth in Class 4A, proving that the girls' wrestling team is also a force to be reckoned with.
With the wrestling season kicking off in early December, all eyes are on these local teams. Fans are eager to see how they will perform and if they can climb even higher in the rankings. It's clear that the area has some talented wrestlers ready to take on the mat.
