Louisiana's Faith Communities Come Together for Unity and Empowerment

In Baton Rouge, a special event is taking place to celebrate unity and inclusivity. Inclusive Louisiana, a group within the Episcopal Diocese, is hosting a Eucharist celebration and reception. This event is open to everyone, reflecting their mission to embrace all, especially the LGBTQ+ community and their supporters. It's happening at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church on Perkins Road from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. on Monday. Meanwhile, in Baker, a conference is set to inspire and empower women. The She SOARS Women’s Conference 2025 at New Covenant Christian Center aims to help women overcome challenges and find their purpose. The event kicks off on Friday, September 26th, at 7 p. m. with a worship service featuring guest speaker Regina Martin and music by the Nixon Sisters. The conference continues on Saturday, September 27th, from 9 a. m. to 11 a. m. with a panel discussion and prophetic insights from Rev. Tilesha Warren, Terrica Jackson, and Shanika Stewart.
