Lucid Motors, a company known for its electric vehicles, has joined forces with two NBA players, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart. This move is part of their marketing plan to highlight people who think outside the box.
The plan starts with big ads and social media posts around the New York Knicks' first home game of the season. By working with these athletes, Lucid is trying to connect with fans of sports, fashion, music, and entertainment.
This is not Lucid's first big partnership. Earlier, they worked with actor Timothée Chalamet for their "Driven" campaign. Even though Lucid's stock has dropped by 35% this year, they are trying to win back investors by introducing new products and forming strategic alliances.
Lucid has started delivering its new Gravity SUV in Canada. This vehicle can travel over 720 km on a single charge and can use Tesla's Supercharger network. The company aims to produce between 18, 000 and 20, 000 vehicles by 2025.
Additionally, Lucid is working with Uber to deploy 20, 000 Lucid Robotaxis in major U. S. cities. This deal is expected to boost sales, increase brand awareness, and create long-term value.
