Richard Keys has dropped a bombshell, claiming that Ruben Amorim, the current manager of Manchester United, might be on his way out. Apparently, Amorim's arrival didn't bring the swift turnaround everyone hoped for after Erik ten Hag's departure. The team, plagued by internal struggles, hasn't seen many wins under Amorim's leadership. In fact, things got so bad after a recent loss to Brighton that Amorim bluntly criticized his players, calling them the worst in the club's 147-year history. This didn't go down well with the media or the players themselves. Keys speculates that Amorim might have wearied of the constant challenges and is looking for an exit. He estimates that replacing Amorim could be cheaper than overhauling the entire team to fit his playstyle. According to Keys, the next in line to take over could be Gareth Southgate. Southgate, who stepped down from his role as England manager last summer, has limited club management experience but is known for his PR skills. Even though Amorim was highly anticipated when he took over, the rapid turn of events at United is hardly surprising. Southgate, who was once the manager of Middlesbrough, hasn't been in the club scene for a while but seems to be Keys' top pick for the job.
