In a shocking turn of events, the recent mayoral debate in Sao Paulo, Brazil, turned violent when 67-year-old José Luiz Datena, a local news anchor, attacked his 37-year-old opponent, Pablo Marçal, an influencer-turned-politician, with a metal chair. The tense debate had reached a boiling point, with Datena becoming enraged when Marçal brought up allegations of sexual misconduct made against him 11 years prior.
