There was a meeting about vaccines. It was supposed to happen in February. But it was canceled and then rescheduled. The meeting went on as planned. At the end, there was an update about measles. The leader of the meeting was upset. He said healthy kids should not be dying from measles. He said the vaccine works well. It protects people for a long time.
The vaccine is very effective. Two doses give 97% protection. Measles is one of the most infectious viruses. It spreads easily. The government needs to do more.
