Meet Einstein's New Partner: Rosa Salazar Joins CBS Crime Series
NEW JERSEY, USAWed Nov 27 2024
Have you heard about the upcoming CBS show Einstein? It's a crime procedural with a twist—think comedy mixed with drama. The show is inspired by a German series of the same name. At the heart of the story is Matthew Gray Gubler who plays the great grandson of the famous Albert Einstein. This genius professor, however, is not your typical bookworm. He's more of a troublemaker, landing himself in legal trouble and being forced to help a local cop solve her toughest cases.
Enter Rosa Salazar, who's cast as Detective Inspector Maddie Paris. Maddie is sharp and disciplined, which is no surprise considering her background. She entered law enforcement after losing her husband. She's going to be teaming up with our not-so-ordinary professor to crack cases that are anything but easy.
The team behind this show is impressive. Andy Breckman, the creator of Monk, is on board. So is Randy Zisk, who's directing the pilot. They're not alone; Tariq Jalil from Intrigue and a few others from Seven One Studios International are also executive producers. Even Matthew Gray Gubler is stepping into the producer role.
Rosa Salazar has shown her versatility in projects like Netflix's Brand New Cherry Flavor, Parenthood, and American Horror Story. She's played significant roles in movies too, including Alita: Battle Angel. Her talent and experience are sure to bring depth to her character in Einstein.
