It's the first week of January, and guess what? Many famous people are celebrating their birthdays! Let's see who's blowing out candles this week.
January 5th kicks off with Robert Duvall, the legendary actor turning 94. Also celebrating is singer-bassist Athol Guy of The Seekers, who's 85. TV host Charlie Rose turned 83, and actor Diane Keaton is 79. Remember Ted Lange from "The Love Boat"? He's 77 now. And let's not forget guitarist Chris Stein of Blondie, who's 75.
On January 6th, we have some music legends. Joey, the CowPolka King of Riders in the Sky, is 76. Singer Kim Wilson of the Fabulous Thunderbirds is 74. And let's not overlook country singer Jett Williams, who's 72.
January 7th brings us "Rolling Stone" magazine founder Jann Wenner, who's 79. Also celebrating is singer Kenny Loggins, who's 77. And actor Nicolas Cage is 61. Actor-rapper Doug E. Doug is 55, while actor Jeremy Renner turns 54.
On January 8th, singer Shirley Bassey, known for singing the theme to "Goldfinger, " is 88. Game show host Bob Eubanks is 87. And singer Sean Paul, who made waves with his reggae music, is 52.
January 9th sees actor K Callan ("Lois and Clark") turning 89. Singer Joan Baez is 84, and guitarist Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin is 81. Actor Imelda Staunton, known for her role in the "Harry Potter" movies, is 69.
On January 10th, singer Rod Stewart is 80, and singer Pat Benatar is 72. Guitarist Michael Schenker (Scorpions) is 70, and singer Shawn Colvin is 69.
Lastly, on January 11th, director Joel Zwick ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding") is 83. Musician Robert Earl Keen is 69, and actor Phyllis Logan ("Downton Abbey") is 69. Guitarist Vicki Peterson of The Bangles is 67, and singer Mary J. Blige is 54.
These celebrities have brought joy to many through their work in movies, TV, and music. Some are still active, while others have left a lasting mark on the entertainment industry.
