San Francisco, California, USAFri Nov 01 2024
Yealimi Noh, a 23-year-old golfer from San Francisco, has been making waves in the world of LPGA Tour. Born to Korean parents who run a Japanese restaurant, her journey to professional golf started when she was just a kid. Her dad introduced her to golf, and soon, it became her passion. She even left school to focus on her golf career.
Noh's talent shone brightly in her amateur years. She won the 2018 Girl's Junior PGA Championship and the US Girl's Junior Championship. In 2019, she turned pro and qualified for the Cambia Portland Classic, finishing second. She earned her LPGA Tour card in 2021, finishing third in the LPGA Q-series.
Noh has been playing well, reaching the second position in the TOTO Japan Classic. She's yet to win a tournament but is definitely a force to reckon with. Off the course, she's also making a mark. She was named the first-ever official ambassador of Malbon Golf, a brand that promotes women's golf and fashion.
