Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is set to bring her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, to Netflix. The brand's debut was soft, with jars of homemade jam gifted to celebrities like Mindy Kaling and Chrissy Teigen. Questions swirled about the brand's leadership and funding. Now, Netflix will help distribute products tied to her new show, "With Love, Meghan. " The streaming giant has done similar product releases, like the "Love Is Wine" Chardonnay for "Love is Blind. " This collaboration could boost Netflix's live events and advertiser partnerships. Markle's brand trademarks include home goods, cosmetics, and even pet shampoo. However, she's faced trademark hurdles, including a protest from Harry & David. The USPTO rejected her initial trademark due to geographical location restrictions. Markle requested a three-month extension to launch her brand. Her new show, "With Love, Meghan, " will feature cooking, gardening, and celebrity friends, premiering on January 15. The show is her first solo project with Netflix since their 2020 deal.
