Meghan McCain, known for her outspokenness, has some strong words for Meghan Markle's new Netflix show. The podcast host, who is the daughter of late Senator John McCain, took to a social media platform to express her feelings. She was once a fan of Markle but has since changed her mind. McCain believes the show, "With Love, Meghan, " ignores current issues and comes across as detached from reality.
"I originally supported Meghan, " McCain said. "But after she disrespected the royal family, my opinion shifted. " Markle's show features her cooking and chatting with famous friends. McCain thinks this is not what people want right now. "We're dealing with terror attacks, wars, and high grocery prices, " she pointed out. "This show seems out of touch. " McCain suggested Markle could do more to help others instead.
The show, set to premiere on January 15, has Markle sharing homemaking tips and cooking meals. She's seen with friends like chef Roy Choi and actress Mindy Kaling. Markle has also returned to Instagram to promote the show. "I'm excited to share this with you, " she wrote, hoping viewers will enjoy it.
McCain thinks the show ignores the harsh reality many are facing. "Do something to help people, " she urged. "That's what the world wants to see, not just another glimpse into your life. "
