In the heart of Fairfax City, a new restaurant named Two Burritos has just celebrated its grand opening. The brainchild of Rafael Lobo, Francis Do, and Gio Winners, Two Burritos is dedicated to bringing the authentic taste of Mexican street food to Virginia. The trio dreamed of this venture for years, but it wasn’t until they spotted an available storefront at 4290 Chain Bridge Road that their dream became a reality.
The restaurant is strategically located near the Fairfax City border with George Mason University, making it a convenient spot for both locals and students. Since its soft launch in November, Two Burritos has already attracted customers from across the area. The restaurant offers a variety of Mexican street food, including Grilled Street Corn and Al Pastor Adabo Pork.
Mayor Catherine Read was present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, highlighting the unique atmosphere of the restaurant. “When you step inside, the smell of the food is incredible, ” she said. Local business leaders from various associations also joined the celebration.
The owners of Two Burritos aim to expand their business, sharing the authentic flavors with more communities. “We’re just getting started, ” said Lobo, expressing gratitude to the City of Fairfax and their team.
