Tue Aug 27 2024
In a recent American Greatness/TIPP survey conducted in Michigan, a staggering 64% of registered voters stated that they are worse off financially than they were four years ago during Donald Trump's presidency.
This sentiment spans across party lines, with only 29% of respondents indicating that they are doing better under the current administration. The survey also reveals that 39% of Democrats, 71% of Independents, and 82% of Republicans long for the pre-Biden economy. The skepticism towards the economy is particularly pronounced in rural areas, where only 21% of voters believe they are better off under Biden.
Suburban and urban areas also show a majority of voters expressing dissatisfaction with the current economic conditions. Furthermore, the survey highlights significant ethnic and gender splits, with only 21% of white women and 22% of wedded women indicating that they are better off under the current administration.
