Micron and Anthropic Team Up for AI Memory Power

Mexico City,Tue Jun 23 2026
Anthropic, the maker of the popular Claude assistant, has struck a new deal with Micron to secure high‑bandwidth memory and storage for its growing AI workloads. The partnership comes as the company ramps up training and deployment of Claude models across engineering, manufacturing, and business operations. Micron will help test how its memory chips perform under different AI tasks and fit into the overall data‑center stack. The agreement follows Anthropic’s recent contracts with CoreWeave, Broadcom and SpaceX to boost compute capacity. By aligning memory technology with compute strategy, the company aims to make training and serving Claude more efficient.
Micron already runs Claude models internally, using them for coding assistance and agentic applications inside its own facilities. The new collaboration is expected to expand those internal uses and provide a reliable supply chain for Anthropic’s future AI projects. Financial details of the deal, as well as Micron’s investment in Anthropic’s Series H round, were not made public. The company remains focused on delivering high‑performance memory solutions to meet the rising demand for AI infrastructure. Anthropic’s recent move toward a U. S. initial public offering, after raising $65 billion and reaching a valuation of nearly $1 trillion, highlights its ambition to scale rapidly. The partnership with Micron is a key step in ensuring the company can keep pace with that growth.
