Microsoft gives business users a cheaper option: Surface USB 4 Dock

Microsoft recently announced a new piece of hardware designed for businesses. It is a USB 4 dock priced at $200.
It is an alternative to the current $300 Thunderbolt 4 dock.
The user will have access to only three ports in the cheaper model, while the more expensive version offers six ports.
So, it is certainly a trade-off to get a lower price.
While Microsoft made some interesting choices with port availability.

Users with this model will get a rear-facing HDMI.
The Thunderbolt 4 dock is a powerhouse with 165W power draw.
Its 96W passthrough feature allows it to charge your devices quickly and efficiently.
The USB 4 Dock offers 100W through 65W passthrough.

It lacks a 3. 5mm audio jack and desk mount.
