Microsoft's AI Copilot Makes Work Easier
Redmond, USATue Nov 19 2024
Ever wished you had a helper at work to take care of those boring, repetitive tasks? Well, Microsoft is making that a reality with its new feature, Copilot Actions. Introduced at the Ignite conference, this AI-powered tool is designed to make life easier for Microsoft 365 Copilot users.
Imagine this: you just finished a meeting on Teams, and Copilot Actions automatically creates a summary of what was discussed. Or maybe you're tired of spending hours preparing for meetings; Copilot Actions can handle that too. It's like having a personal assistant that works in the background, completing tasks based on simple prompts you give it.
But that's not all. Microsoft is also adding some smarts to SharePoint with AI agents. PowerPoint users will soon be able to translate entire presentations into one of 40 languages. Plus, Copilot in PowerPoint can now create a first draft of your presentation by using cues from templates, notes, and transitions. It can even pull in images from SharePoint to make your slides pop.
Excel users will get a boost too. Copilot will soon suggest templates with headers, formulas, and visuals to help you get started quickly. And if you're always struggling to find the best time for meetings, Copilot in Outlook will soon be able to schedule 1:1 meetings with colleagues at the perfect time and even create an agenda.
