Missing Stabler: How SVU and Law & Order Fared Without Organized Crime

For a while, NBC had a full lineup of Law & Order shows on Thursday nights. But as of the 2024-2025 TV season, that's not happening anymore. Christopher Meloni's Law & Order: Organized Crime is missing, and SVU is moving to streaming on Peacock. So, let's see how the other Law & Order shows did in the fall without Stabler at 10 p. m. According to ratings, SVU and Law & Order are still doing well among NBC's scripted series. SVU ranks high, with an average of 5. 6 million viewers over seven days. Law & Order has a bit fewer viewers, with about 4. 83 million. But both shows have seen a drop in viewers compared to last season. SVU is down by 18%, and Law & Order is down by 26%. But is this because of the change in Thursday night lineup? Maybe not. Other shows, like Chicago Fire and Chicago P. D. , also saw a drop in viewers.
