MMA Superstar Conor McGregor Sets Conditions for Return
Las Vegas, Nevada USA,Wed Apr 23 2025
Conor McGregor, the most famous name in mixed martial arts, has been quiet for a while. But now, he's talking about coming back to the UFC. The buzz started after the huge success of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. McGregor took to Twitter to share his thoughts on a potential return.
He made it clear that he wants a big stage. "I'll only come back to a stadium, " he tweeted. This isn't just about any fight. McGregor has some unfinished business with Michael Chandler. The two were supposed to face off in June at UFC 303, but McGregor had to pull out due to a toe injury.
McGregor didn't stop there. He sent a direct message to Chandler. "Unfinished business, " he wrote. Chandler, who used to be a champion in Bellator, was quick to respond. "Unfinished business loading. . . " he tweeted back. Chandler even shared more on Threads, showing he's ready to go whenever McGregor is.
McGregor's been busy since his last fight in July 2021. He suffered a bad leg injury in that match against Dustin Poirier. Since then, he's become a part-owner of BKFC and even talked about running for President of Ireland. Chandler, on the other hand, just had a tough loss to Paddy Pimblett at UFC 314.
The MMA world is watching to see if this showdown happens. McGregor's return could be a game-changer. But will he stick to his stadium condition? And will Chandler be ready to face him? Only time will tell. One thing is for sure: if these two meet in the octagon, it's going to be a fight to remember.
