Decisions are based on money, power, and the people behind these decisions. So, who gets to choose? Is it about the money involved? Does the consequences of money involved influence the choice? You have to figure out what's the consequences of the decisions. Do you know how much it costs to fight these diseases. The money helps you find solutions by stopping them from spreading. There are a lot of diseases that pop up suddenly and then vanish, like COVID-19. Then there are others that stick around for a long time, like diabetes. So, some diseases get more attention. Is it because they're new or scary? Older ones are sometimes ignored. We are focusing only on how many people die. We really need to know what's really going on. Is there a better way to set up the healthcare system? The politics of who decides what's important when it comes to sickness? It's political. We need to rethink and figure out the healthcare system.
