Monster Squad Returns: 'Creature Commandos' Season 2 Confirmed

Get ready for more monster mayhem! The animated series "Creature Commandos, " penned by DC Studios co-chief James Gunn, has been picked up for a second season on the streaming platform Max. This show, featuring a diverse cast of incarcerated non-human monsters who become a secret black ops team, is the first official entry in the new DC Universe under Gunn and his co-chief, Peter Safran.
The series debuted to critical acclaim on December 5, with Variety's Alison Herman praising its playful and irreverent tone. The first season will wrap up on January 9. Amy Gravitt, head of comedy programming at HBO & Max, expressed her excitement, stating, "Only James Gunn could create such a wild and lovable group of misfit monsters. "
The voice cast for the first season includes Indira Varma as The Bride, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr. , David Harbour as Frankenstein, and other notable actors. Gunn and Safran, along with other executive producers, are thrilled to continue the series with Max.
Warner Bros. Animation produced the series in collaboration with DC Studios. Peter Girardi, executive at Warner Bros.
