Mozambique's New President Faces a Divided Nation

For years, Mozambique's ruling party, Frelimo, was beloved for promising freedom from Portuguese rule and a better life. But recently, things have changed. When Daniel Chapo took office as president, the country was more discontented than ever. Many people think the recent election was unfair, and protests have been happening since October.
The election has caused a lot of chaos in Mozambique. The opposition parties are not happy, and neither are the voters. Some people have even died in clashes with the police. Now, Frelimo's power is being questioned more than ever. The country is also facing serious economic and social problems.
Two of the three opposition parties didn't attend the inauguration or the opening of Parliament. This shows how divided the country is right now. People are upset, and they want change.
