Murray’s New Life: From Court to Hotel and Coaching
Scotland, Dunblane, United KingdomFri Jun 05 2026
Andy Murray, long known for his tennis trophies, is stepping into a fresh chapter that shows more than just his athletic skill. A new documentary series follows him and his wife, Kim Sears, as they balance family life, a hotel business, and coaching roles. The series, produced by Rogan Productions, has already filmed its scenes and is slated for release soon.
The centerpiece of their story is the Cromlix Hotel in Dunblane, a five‑star Victorian property Murray bought for £1. 8 million in 2013, the same year he claimed his first Wimbledon title. Kim has led a major renovation that adds glass‑fronted restaurants, new suites, and a wellness cottage. The hotel now ranks among the UK’s top 100 places to stay, and Murray plans to turn it into a high‑end dining destination.
Murray’s family will also feature in the show. The four children—Sophia, Edie, Teddy, and Lola—are expected to appear, giving viewers a glimpse of life beyond the spotlight. This is a significant change from his usual privacy, revealing him as a husband and father in addition to a sports star.
After retiring from the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he and brother Jamie reached the doubles quarterfinals, Murray explored coaching. He joined Novak Djokovic’s team for six months in late 2024 but left in May 2025, unsure if coaching fit him. In early 2026 he signed on with young British talent Jack Draper for the grass‑court season. Draper, a top‑five player, has long admired Murray and now counts him as part of his coaching staff.
The documentary captures all these threads: a renovated hotel, a new coaching role, and the approach of Wimbledon. It will show whether Murray can successfully blend his business ambitions with a return to the sport he loves.
