Big changes are happening in the music industry! Warner Music Hong Kong has a new boss: Robin Ch’i is now in charge, taking over from Gordon Lee who's retiring after 20 years. Ch’i has been with WMG for a long time and knows the business inside out. He's got big shoes to fill, though, as Lee helped grow the company and supported artists like Janice Vidal and Khalil Fong. Meanwhile, Sid Fohrman, a top music industry lawyer, has joined Paul Hastings LLP in Los Angeles. He'll be the boss of their music industry practice and has worked with big names like Warner Music Group and TikTok. Joey Arbagey is the new executive VP of music at 19 Entertainment. He used to work at Epic Records and helped artists like Camila Cabello and John K. Arbagey will now help 19 Entertainment's music division grow. Sony Music Publishing has opened a new office in Thailand. Tatchara Longprasert is the general manager there. He'll help Thai songwriters and composers get their music heard around the world. Other changes include Tim Reynolds joining Big Machine Label Group as VP of digital marketing, and Megan Hall becoming senior VP of business and legal affairs at Concord Music Publishing. These moves show that the music industry is always changing, with new leaders stepping up to guide the way.
