So, what would happen if Green Bay goes for it and trades for Garrett? It would be a game changer. Garrett’s stats speak for themselves, 6-time All-Pro and the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Opposing teams would find tackling him a nightmare. Plus, it’s a posistion that could really use an upgrade. Garret could fill a remaining void in the Packers defense. A team best known for its defense could get a lot better Big mix of pro and con about the trade is on the table. On one hand, the Packers have the money to pull off a big trade. Their cap space is nondescript. If the team really wants him, then why not? Garrett stands out among defensive stars. But trading for him won’t be cheap. The Browns will want a lot. We are not just talking about a first-round pick, but possibly even more. First round picks cost a lot. Then there is the factor that players, after the age of 30 are more prone to injury.
