Community complaints about noise grew in 2025 after the new guided path was approved. Now the county wants a different route for clear weather that might keep planes farther from homes. If the Federal Aviation Administration signs off on it, the old path would stay in use for other conditions. The goal is to balance safety with quieter skies for Napa’s residents. Officials hope the new plan will bring relief without compromising flight operations.
