New Faces and Changes in the FBI Spinoff Show

The FBI spinoff show, CIA, is getting a big shake-up. The network CBS has made some major changes to the cast and crew. First, they had to find a new actor for a key role after one of the main cast members left. They chose Necar Zadegan, who many know from her roles in NCIS: New Orleans and 24. She's also been on Broadway in a big play called Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo. But that's not all. The show has also lost some important people behind the scenes. Warren Leight, who was running the show, left. So did Eriq La Salle, who was an executive producer and director. Now, Mike Weiss, who runs the main FBI show, is stepping in to take over. Production for the show has been on hold for a while. It's not clear when it will start up again. But with these new changes, maybe things will move forward. One thing that's not clear yet is whether Zadegan will play the same character as the one who left or a new one. This isn't the first time the FBI franchise has seen changes. CBS had big plans to expand the franchise, but things didn't go as expected. They had to cancel two other shows, FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International, even though they were pretty popular. The new spinoff was supposed to start last fall, but it didn't happen because of problems with production. The cast has some other familiar faces too. Tom Ellis is playing the lead role. He's joined by Nick Gehlfuss, Natalee Linez, and now Necar Zadegan. With all these changes, it's going to be interesting to see how the show turns out.
