This film is based on real events from 1960. It's about Fidel Castro, the leader of the Cuban revolution, visiting New York City. He was supposed to give a speech at the United Nations. But things got complicated when his hotel kicked him out. That's when Malcolm X stepped in and invited Castro to stay at the famous Hotel Theresa in Harlem.
