Robots are taking over lawn care. Segway, famous for its two-wheeled scooters, has jumped into the robot lawn mower game. They have a new line called the Navimow X3 Series. This series is made for big gardens and commercial spaces. There are four models in this series: the X315, X330, X350, and X390. Each can handle lawns up to 10, 000 square meters. That's about the size of one and a half football fields. These new mowers charge quickly. They can mow 500 square meters in just 30 minutes of charge. In a full day, they can cover 5, 000 square meters. This is thanks to their fast-charging capabilities. The X3 Series also has six blades. This ensures that no part of the lawn is left uncut. An anti-clogging blade disc helps keep the grass from piling up. The X3 Series has some cool tech features. It has an upgraded Exact Fusion Location System (EFLS) version 3. 0. This system offers better precision and stability, even in bad GPS conditions. The mowers also have Enhanced VisionFence technology. This helps with obstacle avoidance. The mowers can recognize over 200 different obstacles, including animals like cats, dogs, and hedgehogs. They can also detect humans from up to three meters away.
Each model has a dot matrix display on top. This shows status updates, theft alerts, and GPS tracking. The design can handle slopes up to 50 percent. There is also an Expansion Bay. This allows for tailored product extensions. One of these is a semi-automatic edge trimmer accessory. This will be available in some countries and regions. The X3 Series was first shown at CES 2025. They are now available through authorized dealers. The mowers can be controlled through the Navimow app. The app has been updated to Navimow OS 3. This update includes six new features. One of these is a child lock that can be activated from the app. Another is voice feedback on the mower status. There is also enhanced Doodle feature, multi-device management and a lifted alarm feature. The update also brings Google Home support to Navimow robots. This allows the mowers to work with other devices like security cameras.
