Trust Wallet, a popular crypto wallet, has teamed up with Revolut, a big name in digital banking, to make buying crypto easier for people in Europe. This new feature lets users buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana directly through the Trust Wallet app, using Revolut's services.
The minimum amount you can buy is just 10 euros, and the maximum is 23, 000 euros per day. This could make it simpler for people to get into crypto. Revolut recently got the green light from regulators in Cyprus to offer crypto services across Europe, so this partnership makes sense.
For now, only those three cryptocurrencies are supported, but the companies plan to add stablecoins like USDC later. One thing to note: while buying crypto through this feature is fee-free, adding money to your Revolut account might not be. Revolut has different fees for bank transfers, card top-ups, and cash deposits.
This partnership comes right after Revolut raised a lot of money in a private sale, making it one of the most valuable private companies in the world. Trust Wallet, backed by Binance's co-founder, has been expanding into new areas like prediction markets and tokenizing real-world assets.
It's interesting to see how this collaboration might change the crypto landscape in Europe. Will it make crypto more accessible? Only time will tell. Unfortunately, neither company commented on this new feature, so we don't have any extra details yet.
