To make things more complicated, star striker Alexander Isak has asked to leave the club. Newcastle has turned down a bid from Liverpool for Isak, but his future remains uncertain. This has led Newcastle to actively search for a new striker. There were recent reports suggesting that Newcastle was interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain. Kolo Muani, who joined PSG for a hefty £76 million in 2023, has struggled to make an impact and spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus. However, Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie has clarified that Newcastle is “not interested” in Kolo Muani and has “not made an approach” to sign him. So, where does this leave Newcastle?
