Nexperia Secures $60M Boost to Expand Chip Production

Dutch state bank Invest International has agreed to lend Nexperia $60 million, aiming to grow the company’s chip output worldwide. The money will help upgrade factories, raise production rates and boost overall efficiency. This financial support comes after a supply crunch that hit the automotive sector, causing investors to pull back. A Dutch newspaper reported that Nexperia is already in talks for additional funding, saying the company wants to keep its reserves free for other projects.Nexperia did not respond to requests for comment. Last week, a Dutch court ordered an investigation into alleged mismanagement at the firm but allowed its European leadership to remain.
