Nikki Haley Backs Trump, Says He's the Better Choice

Former presidential hopeful Nikki Haley recently published an opinion piece supporting Donald Trump, asserting that he is the better choice over current Vice President Kamala Harris. In the Wall Street Journal article released just before Election Day, Haley urges voters to compare policies between the two candidates. She notes that while Trump isn't perfect, she agrees with him more often than with Harris. Haley, who served as the UN Ambassador under Trump, points out several issues facing the country, such as inflation, national debt, and national security concerns. She highlights the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and the ongoing problems at the southern border and with Iran and China."The world is not safe under Biden-Harris, and we shouldn’t expect that to change under a Harris administration, " Haley writes. She acknowledges that Trump will have policies she dislikes if reelected, but argues that no politician gets everything right. Haley advises voters to consider who is the better choice on key issues like taxes, spending, inflation, immigration, energy, and national security. During the GOP primary, Haley ran against Trump but eventually withdrew after voters showed overwhelming support for the former president. Though she criticized Trump during her campaign, she now emphasizes that the election isn't a referendum on Trump's tone or past conduct but rather a choice between two candidates.
