San Francisco 49ers fans are no strangers to TV broadcasters showing scenes of their beloved city instead of the actual home of Levi Stadium - Santa Clara. But that doesn't mean they're happy about it! In the Niners' home opener against the New York Jets, fans took to social media to call out MNF announcers like Joe Buck for referring to a shot of the San Jose hills as 'picturesque Santa Clara'. Some quipped: 'lol, the view of Santa Clara', while others pointedly noted 'They play in Santa Clara, not SJ'. Earlier, the broadcast began with iconic scenes of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marina. Fans couldn't help but laugh at the geographical mix-up, with one fan wryly observing:'Always forget the Bay Bridge view from Santa Clara'. While most fans seem to have accepted that the broadcasters are unlikely to change their ways anytime soon, a few die-hards still hold out hope for some actual coverage of the Niners' true hometown. As one optimist put it: 'They should show Santa Clara imo [in my opinion] it's a very nice place'
