Nintendo's Next Direct: A Dash into Donkey Kong Country at Super Nintendo World

Mark your calendars! Nintendo is treating us to a sneak peek of the highly-anticipated Donkey Kong Country area in Super Nintendo World. This special Nintendo Direct is set to air on Monday at 5PM ET. This theme park expansion, dedicated to Mario's old rival, has been eagerly awaited since its delay earlier this year. You might recall that Nintendo first announced this area back in 2021, promising a thrilling mine cart rollercoaster ride. Earlier this year, Nintendo and Universal Studios gave us a digital tour, confirming that the Orlando, Florida version will open on May 22nd, 2025, with the same attractions as the Osaka park. Don't hold your breath for Nintendo Switch 2 news though. Nintendo has made it clear that this Direct will focus solely on the theme park and won't include any game updates.
